Arcade Sound LTD loves you in 2010

I’ve mentioned Manimal Vinyl and warned of their plans to inundate you with incredible music this year. But they’re not the only ones looking to grab you by the eardrums and squeeze. Knoxville, Tennessee’s Arcade Sound LTD–home to Memoryhouse, whom we told you about–is equally itchy to get inside your aural cavity.

Take Boston’s Magic Man, and this little  Daughter ditty for example. These guys produce the sort of dreamy electro-pop made famous by Postal Service–a sound we’ve all had an affair with–but with a fuzzy clarity that’ll scrape the paint from your windows and turn the sky from gray to gold.

Respect to Audio Muffin as well for another Magic Man track, South Dakota.

You may already know about Florida’s MillionYoung, but he’s got a new EP out now called Be So True that you must hear. It’s the type of chilled-out music that makes your mind dance instead of your body. You’ll lean back on the couch, close your eyes, and casually do the hustle in your head as each synthetic rhythm and blissful melody penetrates you. Lean back to “Mien“.

MillionYoung will be playing a few scattered dates coming up including some stops at SXSW. Be sure to catch him and keep an eye out for more dates from other Arcade Sound LTD’ers. Also, expect more great things from Arcade Sound LTD this year. These guys have an ear for great music so they’ll definitely have more love to give.
