The 2022 Latin Grammys Have Added Karol G And Romeo Santos To The Performance Lineup

The forthcoming Latin Grammys, which will take place on Nov. 17 at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, have added Karol G and Romeo Santos as performers, according to the Latin Recording Academy. Along with previously announced musician Nicky Jam, the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation scholarship recipients Xavier Cintrón, Valentina Garcia, Nicolle Horbath, and Sergio De Miguel Jorquera will also appear.

In three categories, Karol G is up for awards, including record and song of the year for their work on the Drums’ “Provenza.” In addition to being nominated for best urban fusion/performance as a member of Aventura, Romeo Santos is also up for best long-form music video for his documentary “Romeo Santos: King of Bachata.”

They join previously announced performers such as Banda Los Recoditos, Camilo, ngela Aguilar, Elvis Costello, Chiquis, Jorge Drexler, Silvana Estrada, Gente de Zona, Goyo, Jesse & Joy, John Legend, Carin León, Los Bukis, Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández, Aymée Nuviola, Julio Reyes Copello, Sin Bandera

The roster also includes Christian Nodal, Rauw Alejandro, Rosala, Marc Anthony, and Christina Aguilera, who is nominated for seven awards. The night’s most nominated acts are Mexican-American composer Edgar Barrera (Camila Cabello, Grupo Firme, Camilo), who has nine nominations, and Bad Bunny, who has a total of ten.

On November 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Univision will broadcast the telecast. HBO Max will also offer the program, but exclusively in Spanish.
