Two weekends ago, Tame Impala traveled over the river and through the woods to a top-secret location, known only as Camp Nowhere, to play two tunes from their debut, Innerspeaker. Yours Truly was there to soak up the sunshine and the songs alongside our pals and keepers of the Camp, Ears of the Beholder. Enjoy this pair of pieces and then hit the jump for a f0ur-pack of mixtapes curated by the band’s four core members.
Frontman Kevin Parker’s ‘Life Affirming Music’ mix
Drummer Jay Watson’s prog-heavy mix
Bassist Dominic Simper’s kitchen sink mix
Guitarist Nick Allbrook’s spaced-out mix

This is pretty sweet. Love the idea of rock n’ roll in the middle of nowhere. Must’ve been intense in person. Thanks for sharing …
