Summer Walker Posts Inspiring Self-Portraits As A Cleaner: “Don’t Give Up”
Summer Walker has gone a long way in her career. Her mega hit album Over It, which featured huge musicians like Usher, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Bryson Tiller, has won a 2x Platinum plaque. In addition, she tied a Billboard record by having 18 singles on the Hot 100 last year.
Summer paid homage to the lengthy trip she’d traveled on Sunday. She shared two old Instagram photos of herself from when she worked as a cleaning lady. In the photos, she is holding cleaning products. Summer keeps her message simple in the caption, adding, “Don’t give up.”
From 2016 to 2018, the big R&B star worked as a cleaner in Atlanta, as well as stripping on occasion. She’s a self-taught guitarist who learned the guitar from YouTube lessons.
