Twin Shadow
The seasons have flipped, melting Twin Shadow’s “Castles In The Snow” into baby blue puddles. The once cold, and swirling sounds of the original have skipped ahead six months to a warm, humid spring. Here, George Lewis Jr. and band play amidst a collection of soft, illuminated stalactites in what looks like a freshly discovered cave, far below a canopy of palms. Cool raindrops from waterfalls above should be trickling through the ceiling any minute now. The presence of a Hawaiian shirt cultivates a humorous tropical sensation and extinguishes any last inklings of winter’s wrath.
