Yours Truly

Basia Bulat

If distance makes the heart grow fonder, then Basia Bulat has yours truly’s heart bursting at the seams.  She’s been jumping across borders in Europe as if the map was a game of hopscotch, living the life that only the truly spirited souls can live.  She managed to send this note while in Barcelona, written in Polish – only reminding me of the oceans between us.  Luckily, yours truly filmed this little postcard of Basia as she played the new song, “It Can’t Be You.”  And though she’s out of reach in this video, up on the hillside in the distance, it reminds why she’ll always be close to my heart.
