The guitars make a simple ripple across the vast space before “With You” officially begins. Seapony’s playful innocence rings with crisp echoes, taking over the space between the tall ceiling and cool cement floor. The bird’s eye view exposes the reality of the band’s size: a mere circle of four and their unpretentious equipment, effortlessly playing music meant for a summer trip down a lazy river. She bats her eyes and lets the refrain tumble from her lips, while the boys act equally blasé. The only thing missing from the scene is a set of lawn chairs and an overflowing pitcher of Arnold Palmer.
