Stormzy Hangs Out With Amaarae, Jacob Collier, Ms. Banks, And Others In The Music Video For “This Is What I Mean”

The title single from Stormzy’s recently released third album, “This Is What I Mean,” includes a music video that features Amaarae, Black Sherif, Jacob Collier, Ms. Banks, and Storry. The song’s grand piano prelude is mimed by Collier in a scenario set in an empty, darkly lighted warehouse after the opening clip of crowd footage from Stormzy’s album launch party last week.

The video was recorded on the same evening as the aforementioned launch party, according to a title card, and it alternates between shots of the party and similar solo performances by each of the featured performers.

Additionally, three of them—Ms. Banks, Amaarae, and Black Sherif—appear as guests on the song. While Collier doesn’t, he co-wrote the song and is featured on other songs on the album bearing his name. As was made public earlier this month, ‘This Is What I Mean’ was created by a whopping 28 artists.

The album, titled “This Is What I Mean,” was released on Stormzy’s own #Merky label last Friday (November 25) and included the singles “Hide & Seek” and “Firebabe.” It was made public along with a note from the rapper asking his fans and followers to “listen to this album with an open heart.”
