Mike Posner Promises “I’m Not Dead Yet” On New Single & Video Out Now

Generating over 10 billion streams to date, GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-platinum artist, songwriter, and producer, Mike Posner shares a new single and music video entitled “I’m Not Dead Yet” via Arista Records today.

As always, Mike continues to stretch the boundaries of pop. On the track, breezy acoustic guitar and organic percussion crash right into a string-boosted refrain. The instantly hummable hook rings out as he assures, “This is what a sad song sounds like. Directed by Mike Posner and George Gallardo Kattah, the accompanying visual finds Mike on yet another journey —this time in Colombia. As he walks through different scenes, the cinematography captures both the scope of the setting and the intimacy of the song’s emotional core.

About “I’m Not Dead Yet, Mike commented, “There is a sadness in beauty and a beauty in sadness.

In 2022, Mike’s presence continues to impact popular music and culture. He recently featured on Masked Wolf’s “Madhouse” in addition to co-writing blockbuster cuts such as “Grand” by Kane Brown and “Bad Decisions” by Benny Blanco, BTS, and Snoop Dogg.

Welcoming everyone into his wild world, he also introduced Adventures With Mike this year. It promises attendees once-in-a-lifetime excursions—and delivers with its first Trek To Everest Basecamp set for October 16-30. On this expedition personally guided by Mike and Dr. Jon Kedrowski, attendees will hike to Everest Basecamp together, experiencing the wonder of Mt. Everest without climbing it. This experience has already sold out, but the 2023 iteration of Adventures With Mike will be revealed soon.

He also notably hosts his own Wim Hof Workshop as a certified instructor of the Wim Hof Breathing Technique. Check it out on TikTok and YouTube below.

Earlier this year, Mike released “Turn Up” with Futuristics, reeling in over 1 million total streams. “Turn Up” followed Mike’s emotionally-charged single “Home” [produced by Mike Shinoda]. The accompanying visual for the track documented his journey to the top of Mt. Everest.

Title cards narrated the climb in between real-life footage, culminating with his arrival at the summit on June 1, 2021 at 4:35am. To prepare, he climbed 71 mountains and trained for a year-and-a-half. He notably dedicated “Home” to his trainer Dr. Jon Kedrowski and mountain guides Dorje Sherpa and Dawa Chirring Sherpa. Mike dedicated his climb to the Detroit Justice Center.
