]]> A handful of whispering fans sat in a polite little semi-circle on the studio floor, as the unassuming Owen Pallett entered the room and picked up his violin. The audience -who earned their pass to the private session via twitter- sat fascinated by Owen’s presence and proximity, wondering if just he and guitarist, Thomas, could create the whimsical, orchestral swells that made Final Fantasy soar. But, as they had hoped, a symphony emerged from the hands of just these two, and we shed our wonderment to bask in pure fascination.
