Intriguing people are lurking in every corner but when a simple hello and courteous ‘how are you’ can’t begin to satisfy the need to connect with someone, a checklist is made. Favorite color? Hometown? Fears, hopes, loves, regrets? The desire to discover a person can seize your every thought and transform you into a quizzical journalist, asking questions and lusting after answers that will only lead to more. You’d give up sleep to read her childhood poetry and watch her pick out socks on a Wednesday morning, all the while taking notes and happily storing every detail in your vaulted heart.
